TEVA 3109 is an oral medication with a beige color Capsule, containing amoxicillin 500 milligrams as an active ingredient. It is manufactured and provided via Teva Pharmaceuticals USA.

TEVA 3109 can treat various types of infections that are caused by bacteria like tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, or infections in the nose, ear throat, skin, or urinary tract.

TEVA 3109 may also be utilized in conjunction with another antibiotic known as clarithromycin (Biaxin) to treat stomach ulcers that are caused by Helicobacter pylori. This mix is frequently combined together with a stomach acid reducer known as Lansoprazole (Prevacid).ß

There are a variety of types and brands of Amoxil that are available, but not all brands are included in this brochure.

Warnings

Do not take this medication if allergic this medication, or any other antibiotic penicillin-like ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen), dicloxacillin (Dycill, Dynapen), oxacillin (Bactocill), penicillin (Beepen-VK, Ledercillin VK, Pen-V, Pen-Vee, Pfizerpen, V-Cillin K, and Veetids) and many more.

Before taking TEVA 3109, inform your doctor if sensitive to cephalosporins like Omnicef, Cefzil, Ceftin, Keflex, and others. Tell your doctor if asthma, kidney or liver disease, bleeding disorder or blood clotting mononucleosis (also known as “mono”), or any kind of allergy.

It is recommended not to use TEVA 3109 in the event that you are allergic to penicillin antibiotics such as ampicillin, dicloxacillin or penicillin, oxacillin, or ticarcillin.

To ensure this medication is suitable for you, inform your physician if you suffer from:

  • kidney disease;
  • Mononucleosis (also referred to as “mono”);
  • The cause of diarrhea is the use of antibiotics or
  • Food or drug allergies (especially to antibiotics that contain cephalosporins like Omnicef, Cefzil, Ceftin, Keflex, and others).

It isn’t known if this medication will affect a newborn baby. Inform your doctor if are pregnant or planning to be pregnant.

TEVA 3109 could cause birth control pills to become less efficient. Consult your physician about non-hormonal birth control (condom diaphragm, diaphragm, cervical cap as well as the contraceptive sponge) to stop pregnancy.

How do I consume TEVA 3109?
