Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  DR CAP: 3 mg

Crohn dz, mild-moderate

Dose: 9 mg PO qam for up to 8wk; Info: for active dz in ileum or ascending colon; may repeat course for recurrences; may open cap, but do not crush/chew contents

[remission maintenance]

Dose: 6 mg PO qam for up to 3mo; Info: for dz in ileum or ascending colon; taper dose gradually to D/C; tx duration >3mo rarely more effective; may open cap, but do not crush/chew contents
