 Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  TAB: 3.75 mg, 7.5 mg, 15 mg

Anxiety

[15-60 mg/day PO divided bid-tid]

Alt: 15-30 mg PO qhs; Info: start 7.5 mg PO qd-bid in elderly pts; taper dose gradually to D/C

Alcohol withdrawal, acute

[7.5-15 mg/day PO divided bid-tid]

Start: 30 mg PO x1, then 30-60 mg/day PO divided bid-tid on day 1, then 45-90 mg/day PO divided bid-tid on day 2, then 22.5-45 mg/day PO divided bid-tid on day 3, then 15-30 mg/day PO divided bid-tid on day 4, then gradually decr. to 7.5-15 mg/day PO divided bid-tid; Max: 90 mg/day

Partial seizures, adjunct tx
