- Dose: 100-400 mg PO qhs; Info: for pts w/ mod-severe cutaneous dz; start at lower dose range in pts <50 kg; may start at higher dose range up to 400 mg PO qhs or in divided doses in pts w/ severe dz or w/ hx of high-dose use; may use w/ corticosteroid in pts w/ mod-severe neuritis associated w/ severe dz; continue tx for >2wk until active s/sx improve, then taper dose by 50 mg/day q2-4wk to D/C; give >1h after meal
