 Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  CAP: 324 mg

Malaria, uncomplicated

[2 caps PO q8h x3 days]
Info: give w/ doxycycline, tetracycline, or clindamycin; if P. falciparum infection acquired in Southeast Asia, give x7 days; give w/ food; to avoid relapse in acute P. vivax or P. ovale infection, follow up tx w/ primaquine; refer to CDC guidelines

*Babesiosis

[2 caps PO q6-8h x7-10 days]
Info: give w/ clindamycin; not 1st-line regimen; tx for at least 6wk if immunocompromised; give w/ food
