Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  TAB: 1 mg, 2 mg

Tourette syndrome, severe

[2-10 mg/day PO divided qd-bid]

Start: 1-2 mg/day PO divided qd-bid, may incr. dose qod; Max: 0.2 mg/kg/day up to 10 mg/day; Info: perform CYP2D6 genotyping if doses >4 mg/day; in poor CYP2D6 metabolizers, may incr. dose q14 days up to max 4 mg/day; taper dose gradually to D/C; D/C if ANC <1000; consider D/C if unexplained decr. in WBC
