Recommended Adult Dosing

Dosage forms:  TAB: 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg

Insomnia

[1-3 mg PO qhs]

Start: 1 mg PO qhs; Max: 3 mg/day; Info: for sleep onset and/or maintenance; use lowest effective dose; give >7h before planned awakening; max 2 mg/day in elderly or debilitated pts; avoid admin. w/ high fat meal; taper dose gradually to D/C if prolonged use
