Chronic ITP

Start: 100 mg PO bid x1mo, then incr. dose to 150 mg PO bid if Plt <50,000; Info: use lowest effective dose to maintain Plt >50,000; see pkg insert for dose adjustments; D/C if inadequate response after 12wk
