[Dose: 25,000 units/m^2/dose IM/IV x1 on days 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 of a 14-day cycle to substitute for a single dose of pegaspargase]

Start: cycle day 1 on Monday; Info: for pts w/ E. coli-derived asparaginase hypersensitivity; part of multi-drug chemo; if admin. IV, consider monitor nadir serum asparaginase activity (NSAA) levels, and switching to IM route if NSAA <0.1 international unit/mL
